Fall Annual Picnic and Member Meeting

The Watts Bar Lake Association would like to thank all of the members who attended the annual fall picnic at the Watts Bar Dam Pavilion. Timothy Joseph of the Watts Bar Ecology and Fishery Council gave an informative talk on the work of the WBEFC and asked for help and support, in the vital role they will play going forward educating community leaders, senators, representatives and the community at large about the sobering problem of invasive weeds, and the need to reduce the nutrient levels of our beautiful Watts Bar Lake. Please visit WBEFC to read more about the mission of the WBEFC, then use the contact page to get even more information. President Roger Hinsdale kicked of the meeting with greetings, organization business, and then the election of officers and directors. There were no changes to officers or directors of the WBLA. A special thanks to Evelyn Hawkins for providing the delicious meal of pulled pork, pulled chicken and all the fixings.
