TVA conducts controlled burn on Watts Bar Lake
TVA conducted controlled burns Monday on Thief Neck Island on Watts Bar Reservoir, as part of the federal utilities land management program.
It was one of about 20 controlled burns that the Tennessee Valley Authority plans to do across the seven-state region it serves. TVA, the Tennessee Wildlife Resources Agency and the Tennessee Division of Forestry all took part.
