Thanks to all WBLA members who attended the WBLA Annual Spring meeting last night. We had a great turnout with several new members being added to our roll. Roger Hinsdale our president, provided the opening remarks including the mission and function of the Watts Bar Lake Association, the Watts Bar Ecology and Fishery Council, invasive aquatic species, and upcoming events. Representatives from the TWRA (Tennessee Wildlife Resources Agency), Mark Thurman and Mike Jolly; gave a comprehensive presentation on the mission and work of the TWRA as well as a focus on their specialty, the Fisheries Division.
Thank you Mark and Mike for taking time out to educate our group on the essential work of the TWRA in our state and region.
