Thanks to the efforts of some 40+ volunteers, including WBLA volunteers as well as TVA personnel and inmates, the IJAM’s Nature Center’s 29th Annual River Rescue event on Watts Bar was a tremendous success.
Tally of trash and other refuse:

- 1 dock float
- Timber from a dock
- A large canopy
- Elder toilet
- Two trailer bunks
- Plastic drum
- 1 cooler
- 1 block of Styrofoam
- 1 coyote skull
- 12 tires
- 1 old dock
