Rhea Alliance annual fishing tournament set for Oct. 13-14
The Rhea Alliance will be hosting its fifth annual scholarship bass tournament on Oct. 13 and Oct. 14 with $8,500 in scholarships to be awarded in the two-day tournament.
The bass tournament is open to Rhea County residents who are in the sixth- through twelfth-grade on the day of the tournament. The two-day event will begin on Saturday, Oct. 13, on Watts Bar Lake from the Rhea Springs Boat Ramp. Day 2 action will take place on Sunday, Oct. 14, on Lake Chickamauga out of the Dayton Boat Dock ramp. Blast off will be at safe light and weigh-in at 2 p.m. each day.
