Boy Scouts earn Badges at Camp Buck Toms on Watts Bar Lake

[… Several Scouts went to Camp Buck Toms on Watts Bar Lake in July where they had the opportunity to earn several of their merit badges in camping, swimming, fire building, horseback riding, etc. They went whitewater rafting in the Smokies, visited the Tennessee Aquarium for “Scout Days” in September, participated in Fall Camporee at Camp Nakanawa in Cumberland County, raised money with a chili and baked potato dinner in September, worked with Josh Northern on his Eagle Scout project at the park in November, held a shooting sports campout weekend in November, built a tiny house float for the Crossville Christmas Parade in December and even held a winter campout on New Year’s Eve weekend to end the year in Scouting style.
