2019 Ijams River Rescue – Watts Bar Lake Results
The results of the spring 2019 River Rescue coordinated by the TVA/Watts Bar Lake Association are listed below:
- Number of volunteers: 57
- Number of bags colected: 264
- Number of Tires: 49
- Most unusual item found: Hot water heater
- Misc. items: box fan, television, wire fencing, 5 gallon buckets, old tents & tarps, mattress frame.
Thanks to all the volunteers for their participation in this event. A special thanks to the TVA and Scott Ledford for leading this event and providing lunch for the volunteer crew at Uncle Gus’s Mountain Pit Bar-B-Que.
