Comment on Lots of tall tales about Watts Bar Lake weeds by Karl F. I have also read various tourism brochures of Watts Bar Lake and other reserviors. My question is how does pristine waterway and “disgarge Reservior describe the same waterway and why is it left up to the boat owner to properly use and maintain a MSD? Most owners look to find any way possible to reduce operating costs and many have the out of sight-out of mind mind set. This practice should not be allowed and nobody is watching. I have seen this all over the northeast and nobody seems to care. It was eliminated in the northwest Pudget Sound and It should be eliminated here too. I have asked this question at fishing shows and boat shows at TWRA stands’ and the answer is “you have to go higher up the ladder than me to get that answer. There again nobody cares. I only learned this after a 700 grand lakefront investment. Naturally the realtors won’t ever mention it. It Plainly Sucks

Our family has had a cabin on the lake since the 60s. If we do not have our slough sprayed, we will no longer be able to get our boat out to the main channel.
I cannot fathom this.
Tourism would suffer greatly and many people would probably start selling their cabins if we can no longer use our boats. I do not understand the sense in this.
Would a petition of cabin owners help at all?
